LookThis.One is a web platform that allows users to create and manage customizable link in bio profile pages.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information when you use LookThis.One.

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • your email address;
  • authentication information handled by our authentication provider;
  • basic account settings;
  • subscription or account status;
  • if you arrived through an affiliate's link, that affiliate's code, which we hand to our payment provider when a purchase completes so their commission is credited. We are preparing a second label that affiliates will be able to add to their link to tell their own campaigns apart; that label identifies nobody, is not handed to our payment provider, and we are not using it yet.
  • if you arrived through one of our ads, the specific campaign and ad you came from, stored on your account so we can measure which ads work.

1.2 Profile Information

When you create or edit a profile, we may collect and store:

  • your display name;
  • username or public profile identifier;
  • bio or profile description;
  • profile avatar or image;
  • links and labels added to your profile;
  • visual customization settings;
  • profile configuration data.

This information may be displayed publicly on your LookThis.One profile.

1.3 Admin Information

If an Owner assigns an Admin to help manage a profile, we may collect and store information necessary to identify and authorize that Admin, such as email address, account identifier, permissions, and access status.

1.4 Analytics Information

We keep privacy-friendly, aggregate measurements of profile activity — anonymous daily counts with no cookies and no IP address, so they need no consent. These include:

  • profile views;
  • link clicks and embed plays;
  • approximate country, device type and referring domain, in aggregate;
  • per-page, per-day totals.

We do not use these analytics to identify individual profile visitors unless explicitly stated in a future version of this Privacy Policy.

Separately, if you accept marketing, we set a first-party cookie that remembers how often and how recently you've visited, so we can show you relevant messages on this site. No third party is involved and no data leaves us; you can withdraw it at any time. See our Cookie Policy for details.

1.5 Payment and Subscription Information

Payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, taxes, chargebacks, and related payment operations may be handled by a third party payment provider or merchant of record.

We do not directly store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on our own systems.

The payment provider may collect and process information necessary to complete purchases, manage subscriptions, comply with tax obligations, prevent fraud, and handle disputes.

1.6 Technical Information

When you access the Platform, our hosting, infrastructure, security, analytics, or payment providers may process technical information such as:

  • IP address;
  • browser type;
  • device information;
  • operating system;
  • pages visited;
  • logs and diagnostic data;
  • security related events.

We use this information to operate, secure, monitor, and improve the Platform.

2. How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • create and manage user accounts;
  • provide public profile pages;
  • allow Owners and Admins to manage profiles;
  • process payments and subscriptions through third party providers;
  • provide analytics to profile Owners;
  • improve the Platform;
  • prevent abuse, fraud, spam, malware, impersonation, and security threats;
  • enforce our Terms of Service;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • respond to support, privacy, or abuse reports;
  • credit commissions to the affiliates who refer users to us and, once it is available, give them aggregate counts of what their links bring in — never data that identifies a person;
  • measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.

3. Legal Basis and User Eligibility

Legal bases for processing

Where applicable data protection law requires it, we process your personal information on one or more of the following bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to create and manage your account, operate your profile, and manage subscriptions.
  • Legitimate interest: for platform security, fraud and abuse prevention, aggregate usage statistics (including an approximate country, without storing your IP), measuring our advertising campaigns' performance, and attributing referrals to our affiliates together with any aggregate counts we give them.
  • Consent: for third-party embedded content, our own marketing cookie, the affiliate program cookie and the advertising cookies. Outside the United States they are only turned on if you accept them; in the United States they start on and you can turn them off whenever you want. Either way you can change your mind at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with tax obligations, requests from competent authorities, and other applicable legal duties.

Eligibility

You may use LookThis.One only if you have the legal capacity to accept our Terms of Service under the laws that apply to you.

If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

The Platform is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts. If we discover that an account has been created by a child or by a minor without the required consent, we may delete the account and associated data, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.

4. Public Profile Content

LookThis.One profiles are designed to be public.

Information that you publish on your profile, including your profile name, avatar, bio, links, and visual settings, may be visible to anyone who visits your profile URL.

You are responsible for the information you choose to publish.

5. Third Party Services

We may use third party service providers to operate the Platform, including providers for:

  • authentication;
  • database hosting;
  • file and avatar storage;
  • application hosting;
  • content delivery;
  • payments and subscriptions;
  • email delivery;
  • analytics;
  • security and abuse prevention.

These providers may process personal information only as necessary to provide their services to us or to you, subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Examples of providers we may use include infrastructure providers, hosting providers, database providers, and payment providers or merchants of record.

In particular, we use Resend (resend.com) for transactional email delivery. Resend may process your email address and message metadata to the extent necessary to deliver system communications such as notifications and invitations.

We use Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com) as our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for purchases made on the Platform and processes the information needed to complete them: your email address, billing name and country, tax information where it is required, and your purchase and subscription history. Card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy and its own payment processors and never reach our systems.

We advertise on external platforms and measure their performance from our own server. When you arrive from one of our ads, we report to that platform that the visit happened, together with the click identifier it added to the link, and we store that identifier in your browser so we can recognise the same visit later. If you arrived that way, we also report what you do next: when you press the button to apply to the affiliate program, when you confirm your email while creating an account, and when you start the purchase of a space. And we report every space acquired, whether or not you arrived from an ad, together with the purchase amount. All of these reports include your IP address and basic information about your browser, and none of them includes your name or your email address. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom we send neither your IP address nor your browser information. And the reports that depend on the advertising cookies, such as the one for a purchase, do not happen unless you have accepted them: without them there is nothing left to identify you with. These are the platforms we use:

Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It processes that data as a joint controller with us at the moment of collection, and as an independent controller for its own purposes; the information may be transferred to the United States. Its cookies are listed in our Cookie Policy.

Google Ads. We are not using it yet; we describe it here in advance so you can decide before it happens. When we start, it will receive the same information described above, will also process it for its own purposes, and that information may be transferred to the United States. Its cookies are listed in our Cookie Policy.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

LookThis.One may use cookies or similar technologies when necessary to:

  • keep users signed in;
  • maintain security;
  • remember preferences;
  • operate the Platform;
  • process payments through third party providers;
  • understand basic usage patterns.

With your consent we load the Meta pixel, which sets advertising cookies; they are listed in the Cookie Policy and you can switch them off there. We also measure the performance of our ads from our own server: measuring your arrival from an ad uses no cookies, and measuring a purchase reads the Meta cookies when they exist in your browser — see section 5 of this policy.

If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to operate the Platform, provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.

Our analytics are aggregate daily counts of page views, link clicks and embed plays, along with daily totals by device type, approximate country and referring site. They set no cookie and store no IP address, user agent or other personal data, they are not linked to your account, and no record of your particular visit exists: only totals. That is why they need no consent and count every visitor. Being aggregate figures rather than personal data, they are kept indefinitely: there is nothing personal to delete.

When you delete your account, we aim to delete your profile data, links, avatar, analytics, and account data from our active systems.

Some information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, tax, billing, fraud prevention, backup, or dispute resolution purposes.

Payment, tax, invoice, refund, and chargeback records may also be retained by our payment provider or merchant of record according to their own legal obligations and retention policies.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no internet based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for ensuring that any Admin you assign follows appropriate security practices.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to:

  • access your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • request portability of your data;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • file a complaint with a competent authority.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

United States residents

If you live in the United States, the cookies that are not strictly necessary start on and you can turn them off at any time in our Cookie Policy or from the notice shown when you arrive. We also honour your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal and treat it as turning them off. We do not sell your personal information for money. Several state laws, California’s among them, treat sending information to the platforms where we advertise, in order to measure and show ads, as a “sale or share”: when you turn advertising off we stop sending them anything about you, both from your browser and from our server.

10. International Data Transfers

The service providers we use to operate LookThis.One, described in section 5, operate principally from the United States, and your information may be processed there.

11. Abuse Reports and Safety

If you believe a LookThis.One profile is being used for illegal content, impersonation, fraud, malware, spam, harassment, copyright infringement, non consensual sexual content, or other abuse, you may contact us at:

Please include the profile URL and a short description of the issue.

We may process information included in abuse reports to investigate, prevent harm, enforce our Terms, or comply with legal obligations.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice when appropriate.

Where a change requires your consent under applicable law, we will request it before applying it.
